Life is a collaborative effort, and I could not do this work without the support of these humans:

    N. Oumou Sylla, LMFT, MA

Oumou is a wellness double / consultant and NY licensed trauma-informed therapist. Oumou specializes in working with LGBTQ+ Black, Indigenous, and other people of color navigating traumas, relational stress / anxiety, life transitions, burnout, depression, anxiety, and more.

I first met Oumou during Consent Wizardry’s Somatic Consent Educator program and I absolutely resonate with their playful approach while also holding mindfulness of the ways we are impacted by Anti-Blackness, gender based oppression, ableism, capitalism, state-sanctioned violence and other forms for systemic injustice.

    Don't Be Jealous Studio

Calvin and Jean at Don’t Be Jealous Studio are the amazing graphic designers behind the logo and branding for Human Canine Collaborative! Before our collaboration, I had an idea of what my business could be, but couldn’t figure out how to represent myself and I often felt really anxious about public-facing activities. Jean and Calvin’s curiosity, authentic vibes, aligned values, and stellar creative skills helped bring my vision to life in a way that truly represents who I am and supported me in finding a playfulness I needed to share my work with the world. I am so grateful for their patience, clear communication, and client-centeredness and highly recommend them if you have any design needs.

    Meenadchi

Meenadchi is a dear friend and colleague who teaches Decolonizing Nonviolent Communication, wrote an amazing workbook, and facilitates magical group and individual family constellation work. Meenadchi’s work supports humans in cultivating skills for deep listening, communicating one’s needs, healing money trauma, and generally showing up in the world with authenticity, playfulness, and deep love of self. Meenadchi also supports me in finding a moment each day to breathe deep, release limiting subconscious beliefs, and laugh from the depths of my belly.

    The Canine Health Nut

Nikki is a Registered Veterinary Technician and Certified Pet Nutrition Coach. Nikki provides consultation on dog nutrition and supports dog guardians in learning how to provide a balanced healthy diet for their dogs. Muggins and I are so grateful for Nikki’s consultation and guidance that helped us to identify appropriate treats and chew items, learn how to use the Balance It supplement and software to create recipes that Muggins loves, and ensure that Muggins is getting all the nutrients they need without eating too much. Since working with Nikki, Muggins eats as soon as I put the bowl down (no more burying the food with imaginary dirt!), they are able to relax and lick frozen chews by themselves, and they always eat treats during walks (even when passing bunnies!)
